Happy Summer. It's "Game on" in Cabo now. After the early tropical storm systems that passed by Cabo already this year, we are officially in summer fishing conditions! The Blue Marlin are already showing. This is a great sign of a super strong summer fishing season. We hooked a Blue over 400 lbs in mid-June, and released one approximately 250 lbs. The Striped Marlin bite is nothing short of spectacular. We are seeing 5-6 shots per day on Stripeys now, both on lures and trolled Ballyhoo; super exciting action. Aggressive fish that are abnormally large. We are posting photos regularly on our Facebook page and you can see for yourselves some of the most beautiful Striped Marlin ever.
Dorado are also showing well and will swarm our water all summer and fall. Bring your coolers to bring fish home and remember to keep only what you can consume.
The tuna have also finally shown up. Some fat fish were hauled to the scales, with fish over 150 lbs out there. Be ready to stretch your arms.
The shore bite is also on. The Mullet are spawning and that brings the Roosterfish. Super fun light tackle action and there are miles of untouched beaches to attack.
